What now?

Life has its ups and downs, and yuss, it can blimming suck sometimes. One minute you can be enjoying the most amazing chai latte you've ever had with your best friend, and the next minute, you're just like 'what the heck?'

I've just had one of those days, when life really does know how to kick you in the stomach. Maybe you've just failed a massive exam or assignment that was super important to your grades, or maybe your boyfriend or girlfriend has just broken up with you, or maybe you even just burnt your toast to a crisp this morning when you were trying to rush to church or work or something which made you go hungry for the rest of the day. So ya, life can really be a mission sometimes ey.

This last week I had the most awesome privilege to travel to Joburg in SA to witness the awesome Jesus Culture band perform live and yes, as you can probably guess, I was blown away. It was LIT!

However, I wasn't just blown away by experiencing Kim Walker live, no, I was blown away by the fact of seeing sooooo many girls looking happy. How strange is that? They were actually looking happy, with no boys around them, in their little friendship groups stuffing their faces with the most delicious, yet deadliest foods ( according to some people, but oh well ) Ice cream, ribs, burgers, fries, literally anything under the sun, even Oreo Mcflurries! And it made me realize something, when life knocks you down, what are you gonna do about it? Are you just gonna sit there grovelling in the dirt? Or are you actually gonna do something about it?

When you realize who you belong to, and whose fighting for you, I promise you that you can eat those bacon and cheese fries from Rocomamas without guilt. You can drink that RAD caramel milkshake without shame, because YOU belong to the King of Kings, You are a child of the most high God, and He loves you.

Who cares if you think you look fat? Who cares if people don't think you pretty? It's just because they don't know God's definition of beautiful, and YOU, are beautiful.

Happy girls are the prettiest. You've probably heard of that quote before, and you know what? It's true.

Be yourself, and be happy with that, and when you struggling to find that happiness, ask Jesus to show you true happiness and He will blow your mind. So many people say that you need someone to make you happy, but you know what I believe? The person who is going to show you true happiness, is Jesus Christ. You don't need no man to make you happy, you don't need to have that gorgeous revenge body to make your ex boyfriend wish he never left you. No..

Be happy with who you are, and if people don't like that, refer them to the Big Guy who created you, and they can take their complaints to Him. Know who you are, and love it!
